Sanju Samson made his domestic cricket debut in 2011 for the Kerala cricket team and made his One-day International cricket debut on 23 July 2021 in the match between India vs Sri Lanka.
He made his IPL debut in 2012 for Kolkata Knight Riders but Samson did not get a chance to play, in 2013 he was signed by IPL team Rajasthan Royals and finally debuted on 14 April 2013 in the match between Rajasthan and Kings XI Punjab
