Career
Avinash Singh made his domestic cricket debut for East Central Railway (India) in 2022 and his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore in March 2023.
RCB recently discovered a talented cricketer named Avinash through a unique AI-based scouting system called Hinterland Scouting. Avinash had never considered pursuing professional cricket, as it was just a hobby for him. However, a coach named Mayank Goswami noticed his skills and encouraged Avinash’s father to let him pursue cricket.
Avinash then trained under a coach named Ashok Gaikwad and impressed several IPL franchises during their camps, including RCB, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals. Despite not having played a single professional match, Avinash was picked up by RCB during the 2023 IPL mini-auction.
It’s worth noting that Avinash’s father initially didn’t want him to play cricket and instead wanted him to move to Canada. Additionally, Avinash faced financial limitations, which made it difficult for his family to afford the necessary cricket equipment.
